Although Alan has been mainly in the background of the centre's routine business activities, he has been a key member of NDEIT since our inception in 2006. We are happy to say that Alan is no longer in the background and is now in charge of managing the school's day to day business activities.
Alan, has extensive experience in the oil & gas, shipping and manufacturing industry. He has worked with Trinidad Dockyards and Schlumberger in the maintenance, mechanical and electrical engineering departments. Alan has also been involved with NDT and Pdm since 1998.
Sonny is owner and senior instructor of NDEIT. He is a second generation NDT inspector and has been in the inspection field since he was 16 years old. He has over 10 years of teaching experience under his belt and has actually taught many local inspectors and plant engineers you see today.
Sonny holds Can/CGSB-48.9712 Certification (an ISO 9712 based certification) in MT, PT, UT & RT and he is an ASNT NDT Level III in MT, PT, UT & RT. He is also an Infraspection Institute Level III Certified Infrared Thermographer as well as API 510 certified for pressure vessel inspection.
Bernadette (Raquel) Benjamin - Administrative Assistant
Raquel has been with NDEIT since 2006. She is the glue that holds the centre together. She will be happy to answer your calls and assist you with training, examination and course registrations and information.
She signs the checks. So she's pretty much the boss.
Linda has been with NDEIT since our inception in 2006. She will be happy to assist your with your Queries on invoices, course payments and purchase orders.
