RADIOGRAPHIC FILM INTERPRETATION
OF WELDMENTS
Five days (40 hours)


TRAINING OBJECTIVES: This five day (40 hrs.) course provides the theoretical and practical knowledge into how to effectively interpret radiographs of weldments to accepted codes and standards. This course is practical in nature, utilizes classroom participation, and allows for hands on application in the review of radiographic film of weldments.

This Radiographic Film Interpretation course primarily deals with the interpretation of welds. ASME, API and AWS codes and standards will be discussed for quality of radiographs and acceptance criteria. This course meets the recommended training hours and outline for ASNT SNT-TC-1a (2016 edition), ANSI/ASNT CP105 (2016 Edition) and the AWS Radiographic Film Interpreter certification program.
