TRAINING OBJECTIVES: This five day course is intended to provide the theory of ultrasonic technology to a degree that the participants will have an understanding of ultrasonic thickness gauging and straight beam scanning using A-Scan and digital ultrasonic intruments. Participants in this extensive training will be able to better understand the pitfalls of ultrasonic thickness gauging and straight beam flaw detection with respect to material velocities, surface roughness and geometrical configurations.
